韩国首都的中文名称正式改为“首尔”，不再称“汉城”。

韩国人真的太在意“汉”这个字了，但是从首尔城中流过的“汉江”怎么办呢？韩国国旗上的太极八卦怎么办呢？

“汉城”一称在汉语里已经使用了600年，并且这并不是由“汉”人制造的地名，它的创造者恰恰的“韩”人－－朝鲜王朝的开国皇帝李成桂所定。史载，李成桂1394年从开京（现开城）迁都汉阳，从此将它正式命名为“汉城”。

我对韩国语言文字的了解不深，但是从我的一知半解中可以看出，韩语所受汉语的影响之深！韩国的人名、地名均是以汉语为取名基础的，都是可以还原为汉字的，并且发音出奇的相似。

韩国长期以来（2000年左右）均使用的是中国的汉字，即使朝鲜王朝第四代国王世宗，于1443年创立了朝鲜式的拼音方块字－－“朝鲜谚文”（也称韩文）后，汉字依然是韩国文字的主流，即使二战之后开始通用拼音文字之后，汉字在韩国人生活中依然占着很大的地位－－许多严谨的学术著作（如法学）一律是用汉字书写，因为拼音文字在表意上的缺陷无法代替汉字的表意功能！

1910年朝鲜半岛沦为日本殖民地前，首都的名称为“汉城”韩语发音为“Hansung”，而现在的名称是因为在大韩民国建立之后没有确定它首都的名称而仅仅以”首府“口称，没有给其标以汉字，这是韩国唯一一个没有汉字标写的地名。现在改为”首尔“也是从”首府“的韩语发音改来，在我这个大汉族主义者看来，韩语简直像是汉语的一个方言！”首尔“的发音不是语汉语对”首府“的发音及其相似吗？
